AniForte have been making natural supplements for dogs since 2013, when a family in Germany wanted a properly natural option for their own animals and ended up making it themselves. Still family run, now part of The Nutriment Company, with their own vets and nutritionists on hand.

What we like about them is that each product does one job and tells you plainly what that job is. Green lipped mussel for joints. Moor mud for digestion. A seaweed powder for teeth. Real ingredients, no unnecessary chemical additives, and nothing in there to bulk it out.

Whatever you're trying to help with, there's usually something in the range that fits. If you're not sure which, ask us and we'll go through it.

Delivered across the UK, and on the shelf in our Dunfermline shop.

Should I get a single supplement or an all-rounder?

Most of the AniForte range is built the same way. One thing, doing one job. Green lipped mussel for joints. Moor mud for the gut. Rose hip for natural vitamin C. If you know what you're trying to help with, that's usually the straightest route to it, and you're not paying for eight other ingredients your dog doesn't need.

The all-rounders work the other way. They put several ingredients in one scoop and cover a few bases at once, which suits a dog with nothing in particular going on, or a raw feeder who wants the basics covered without lining up four tubs.

Plenty of people end up with one of each, and that's fine. The usual pattern is an everyday all-rounder plus one single supplement for whatever that particular dog needs a hand with.

Each product page lists exactly what's in that one and what it's for, so check there rather than here if you're comparing two.
