A soft wild boar pâté in a 400g roll, with no additives or preservatives. Wild boar is the only meat in it, and puppies can have it from eight weeks.
Wild boar is pork's wild cousin, and the two have almost nothing in common in the bowl. Boar is darker, leaner and a lot stronger flavoured, because of how the animal lives and what it eats. That puts it between the everyday meats and proper game. If chicken's stopped impressing your dog but venison is more than you need, this is the one in the middle.
There's wild boar in our freezer too, so for once the treat can match the dinner.
Slice it, cube it or spread it on a lick mat. It's soft enough for a puppy and firm enough to cut small, so a roll goes a long way in a training pouch.
Wild boar makes up 94%, with sweet potato, seaweed and a vitamin and mineral mix. Grain and gluten free. It freezes well too. If 400g is more than your dog will get through, cut it into portions, pop them in bags and take one out of the freezer to defrost when you need it.
