A soft lamb pâté in a 400g roll, with no additives or preservatives. Lamb is the only meat in it, it's high in protein and low in fat, and puppies can have it from eight weeks.
Lamb is the one most dogs already know. That sounds like faint praise and it isn't. When you're teaching a puppy their first recall, or coaxing a dog who inspects everything first, you want a flavour that lands straight away. It's also the obvious choice if lamb is already what's in their bowl at dinner.
Cube it small for training, spread it on a lick mat, or grate a little over their food. It holds together well, so you can cut it as fine as you like.
Lamb makes up 94%, with sweet potato, seaweed and a vitamin and mineral mix. Grain and gluten free. It freezes well too. If 400g is more than your dog will get through, cut it into portions, pop them in bags and take one out of the freezer to defrost when you need it.
