barkinBISTRO Golden Mobility is a freeze-dried goat milk powder made with active dogs and seniors in mind, built around turmeric, ginger and a handful of root vegetables rather than a paste or a capsule.
Goat milk is the base, and on its own it naturally carries probiotics, enzymes, vitamins, minerals and healthy fats. Turmeric and ginger sit alongside it, both traditionally used to support everyday movement and wellbeing, plus pumpkin for natural fibre and carrot and sweet potato for a bit of extra nutrition. Mix it with water and it turns into a thick, pourable liquid you add straight to the bowl.
Worth knowing plainly: this is a gentle, everyday blend rather than a dedicated joint therapy. Turmeric and ginger are well used in natural diets, and most dogs take to small amounts of both without any issue, though if your dog is on medication or has a procedure coming up, it's worth a quick word with your vet first, since the two can occasionally interact.
Mix it into a meal, whether that's raw, dry or cooked, use it as a hydrating drink on its own, or add it to a lick mat or a stuffed toy for a bit of enrichment. It suits puppies and kittens too, though this is the one blend in the range clearly built with an older or more active dog in mind.
Because it's freeze-dried, there's no freezer to find room for. It sits in the cupboard as a dry powder until you're ready to use it, and only needs the fridge once it's mixed with water, for up to 7 to 10 days. One bottle makes a litre once mixed, and how far that goes depends on your dog's weight, from around 16 daily servings for a dog under 10kg to around 3 for a dog over 40kg.
Not sure if it's the right daily boost for your dog? Just ask, we're always happy to help. Delivered across the UK, and on the shelf in our Dunfermline shop.
