Naturaw Free Range Chicken & Beef Tripe is a hearty raw recipe built around two things dogs go properly daft for: chicken and tripe. It's minced a little coarser than some raw food to keep some texture in there, rather than a smooth paste, so it feels closer to what your dog would naturally tackle.
It's made with 50% free range British chicken (with bone), 30% grass-fed British beef tripe, and 20% beef offal (10% heart, 5% liver, 5% kidney), giving a roughly 80% meat, 10% bone, 10% offal balance. Tripe is a firm favourite in raw feeding circles. Dogs tend to love the smell and taste, even if it's fair to say it's not the nicest thing to defrost in your kitchen. Alongside it, the beef heart, liver and kidney bring the natural variety that a raw diet benefits from. There's nothing else in the mix beyond that, no grain, no additives, no preservatives, just honest British meat.
It comes frozen to lock in freshness. Defrost in the fridge, use within three days, and it's fine to portion and refreeze. As with all our raw ranges, it's best fed as part of a varied diet alongside other proteins, cuts and organ meats, rather than as the only thing on the menu. A general guide is 2-3% of your dog's ideal body weight a day, with slight adjustments for puppies.
