Hurtta's Weekend Warrior Boots are soft, fleece-lined boots for dogs whose paws need protecting, whether that's from icy pavements, road salt or sharp stones on a forest trail. They're flexible enough that your dog can still run, play and move just like they normally would.
The sole's what makes them. It's a soft latex rubber that bends with the paw rather than fighting it, with a textured surface for grip on slippery ground. Soft doesn't mean flimsy, though. It's been tested for abrasion, cuts and punctures, which counts for a lot on a walk that takes in gravel, broken glass or a path full of sharp rocks and branches.
Higher up, a weatherproof neoprene shell keeps the wet and cold out, and a fleece lining keeps paws warm. They're made for proper winter weather, right down to -25°C. They're just as useful on a sore or healing paw, keeping it covered and protected while it gets better.
Getting them on takes seconds. Slip the boot over the paw, wrap the strap round and fasten it snug. Reflective piping runs round the top edge, so they catch the light once it starts getting dark.
Expect a bit of high-stepping the first few times they're on, with your dog lifting their paws higher than usual. Most get used to them quickly, and after that it's just another walk.

Stand your dog on a sheet of paper and draw round one paw, then measure across the widest part of the outline. Do it while they're standing up, since a paw spreads out under their weight. Front and back paws can need different sizes, so measure them separately. If your dog falls between two, go for the size whose width is closest to theirs.
Each pack has two boots in one size. A dog with bigger front paws than back ones will need a pack in each size to cover all four.
