Naturaw Forage: Venison is a complete raw meal built around a rich, gamey protein and a proper mix of whole food ingredients. It's formulated to FEDIAF guidelines to provide everything an adult dog needs daily, so there's nothing extra to add on the side, and it's expertly minced coarsely to keep some texture in there.
It's made with 65.4% British venison (with bone) and 17.8% grass-fed British lamb, including lamb heart and liver, alongside whole seasonal oily fish for omega 3. The rest of the recipe is Naturaw's Forage blend of whole foods: hand-harvested organic Scottish seaweed, wheatgrass, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, Scandinavian blue mussel, cleavers and nettles, plus broccoli, whole blackberries, free range British egg, organic kale and a touch of Yorkshire sea salt. It's naturally low in fat, grain free, and there's no carrot or root veg filler in the mix.
Venison is a good option if you're after a novel protein, whether that's for a dog with a sensitivity to more common meats or just to add some variety to their rotation. It comes frozen to lock in freshness. Defrost in the fridge, use within three days, and it's fine to portion and refreeze. As a general guide, feed 2-3% of your dog's ideal body weight a day.
