BetterBone Mini – Soft Strength (Classic Flavour Only)
Gentle on teeth, kind to tummies – the BetterBone Mini – Soft Strength is the perfect chew for small breed puppies, older dogs, or light chewers who need a safer, softer alternative. Whether your dog is teething, has dental sensitivities, or just prefers a milder chew, this mini version is designed with their needs in mind.
Made from just three 100% natural, food-grade ingredients, the BetterBone is a chew you can feel confident giving to your dog. The star ingredient is cellulose, a plant-based fibre also used in human foods like parmesan cheese, breads, and countless items in your fridge. It’s combined with renewable starch and natural oils to create a chew that’s non-toxic, biodegradable, hypoallergenic, and completely free from plastic or nylon.
This Soft Strength version flakes more easily than the Medium or Hard varieties, helping to gently clean teeth while protecting sensitive mouths. It’s also lighter and easier for small dogs to carry and grip during chew time.

Classic (Hypoallergenic): No added flavour, making it ideal for puppies or dogs with food sensitivities.
Is it okay for my dog to ingest pieces of the BetterBone?
BetterBone is not meant to be eaten or used as a meal substitute. However, if your dog happens to ingest small pieces while chewing, it's perfectly safe for bits smaller than oatmeal flakes or grains of rice to pass through their digestive system.
BetterBone’s ingredients are food-grade materials sourced from the human food industry. Its main component – cellulose – is a non-soluble fibre that will pass harmlessly through the gut in small amounts.
BetterBone is designed with an optimal density to gradually flake during play. You may notice tiny pieces left behind, and sometimes these are ingested. In small quantities, that’s completely normal – but this product is not intended to be eaten.
Always supervise your dog while they enjoy their BetterBone. If they’re breaking off pieces larger than grains of rice or consuming too many shavings, remove the chew or limit their chewing time.
If your dog becomes a more determined chewer, consider moving up to Medium or Hard Strength for extra durability.
