FEEDING GUIDE

Its important to feed the correct amount of food and to monitor and weigh the puppy every couple of weeks. We certainly do not recommend free feeding. Instead a puppy should be fed approximately the same amount of food as it will need as an adult. Slightly less (10%) for the first couple of months and then slightly more during its peak development phase (3-9 months for small and medium breeds, a little longer for larger and giant breeds).

Adult dogs should be fed, as a guide, 2-3% of their body-weight per day.

Keeps for 48-72 hours, in a refrigerator, after defrosting. This meal should be fed raw but may be warmed before feeding. Thoroughly defrost food before serving. A supply of fresh drinking water should always be available.

Always remember good hygiene practices, handle as you would any other raw meat. Wash hands and utensils after handling.
