The Farmhouse Turkey and Duck Cold Pressed dog food by Wilsons is a great healthy meal option for your dog to devour. Suitable for dogs over 2 months old and made from apple, ginger and cranberry, Wilsons gently press the ingredients to preserve important nutrients and vitamins that dogs need. This minimally processed complete meal promotes healthy digestion thanks to how easily the food breaks down in your dog’s stomach, causing absolutely no bloat whatsoever.
Packed full of healthy ingredients, turkey is low in fat and high in protein, and duck is a great source of Vitamin C and fibre. Cranberry also supports good urinary health, looking after your dog’s digestive system as well as their immune system. The combination of these and the added herbs and vegetables encourage joint health and keep your pooch topped up on vital vitamins. All ingredients are hypoallergenic and grain free, making them great for dogs who experience any allergies, intolerances, or sensitive stomachs.
If your dog enjoys more of a wet food consistency, you have the option to mix some lukewarm water with the pellets, let it sit for 5 minutes and then stir to create a delicious gravy-like paste. Remember to remove any uneaten food after 20 minutes.
Developed with nutritionists and produced in Wilsons’ factories in Scotland, this premium British dry dog food is packaged in their new Eco Pack recyclable boxes. Cold pressed food is nutritionally denser, so Wilsons advise to feed around 30% less than traditional kibble, making sure not to over feed.
When introducing for the first time, make sure you switch over to this food gradually, pet nutritionists recommend feeding smaller amounts of Wilsons Cold Pressed in the first few days and mixed in with the previous food. Do this over the course of 10 days and then gradually increase the amount of Wilsons whilst serving less of the old food.
