Ideal for summer walks along the beach or coastal paths but can also be worn over insulating layers in colder conditions through the chilly Autumn and Winter months. The raincoat is compatible with other insulating Ruffwear products such as the Fernie or Climate Changer. In addition to layering, it can also be worn over most harnesses as it includes a handy leash portal fitted on the back of the jacket, so you can easily clip your lead through to your dog’s harness underneath.
This dog rain jacket is easy to put on and take off thanks to the side release buckles attached to the belly panel that can also be tightened to give a more comfortable and secure fit for your dog. There are also optional leg loops fitted to the underneath side which give the jacket extra security in more windy conditions - perfect if you are adventuring up the hills and the wind starts to pick up. The fabric is both waterproof and windproof making it suitable for a range of climates and handy to have when the weather is unpredictable.
This jacket has been in the Ruffwear range for a long time, but with the new design offers extended coverage over the hips and thighs keeping your dog much warmer and dryer. The oversized storm collar can also fold up to give extra protection on rainy days. As the rain jacket is non-insulated and a comfortable shell material, this will prevent your dog from overheating in the summer months. This also allows the jacket to be worn during high or low intensity exercise activities. With the new design comes three new colours to choose from; Blue Dusk, Midnight Blue and Hibiscus Pink. These new colours are printed in bold two tone colour blocks which match nicely with the rest of the new products in the range.
Around the trim of the jacket, there are reflective accents making it more visible in low light conditions like your darker evening walks. It is also fitted with the light loop feature for attaching The Beacon light, a perfect addition for your darker evening walks. The lightweight design makes it easy to pack away into your rucksack for bringing along on short walks or further afield adventures.
