The Dog Smart puzzle by Nina Ottosson is a level 1 game for dogs that will keep them entertained whilst preventing boredom or destructive behaviour. These serve as a great distraction for particularly anxious dogs who need something fun to focus on, and generally a fun new game for all the curious dogs out there!
This Level 1 game is entry level which is great for introducing your dog to the world of puzzles! Dog Smart is a great starting point for training your dog’s mind and preparing them for more challenging levels in the future.
After your dog is all puzzled out, the game is so easy to clean by hand washing with warm soapy water.
How to play:
Insert your dog’s treats, or wet or dry kibble in the compartments of the base and cover them with the removable bones. The more bones the harder the challenge! Show your dog where the treats are by lifting the bones, exposing the food slightly or leaving some completely off so they can have a sniff around and figure out what they need to do. This puzzle allows you to mix it up a bit, the bones can be flush to the board or be slightly elevated for a variety of challenges. When the bones are flush to the board, your dog will learn how to paw at them differently compared to when they are elevated and easier to remove. Dogs are so clever, sometimes they just need a little guidance to get into the swing of things!
Use some canned food, wet food or any other treats, mix with some water and pour into each compartment. Place the Dog Brick into the freezer and you will be left with some frozen treats for your pup to find. Great for hot weather, energetic dogs or just for some extended fun.
Suitable for all dogs of any age and size. Always supervise your dog whilst playing, don’t let them chew on the toy or attachments.
