This insect protein based food by Yora is made with nutritious insects, oats, potato, seaweed and added herbs and botanicals. The Large Breed option has extra added joint care to promote healthy bones and comes in a larger sized kibble so bigger dogs can have a proper crunch when eating their tasty meals.
Pet food production alone causes 64 million tonnes of carbon dioxide every year, meat and fish farming is one of the most polluting industries on the planet. That’s why Yora have created this healthy, planet friendly dog food that is not only full of all the nutrition your dog needs for a balanced diet, but it also has a positive impact on the environment.
Yora Foods are made using grubs sourced in Holland which are raised on a special mix of clean recycled vegetable waste that would otherwise go uneaten. They very quickly and efficiently convert those veggies into fats, protein and minerals which our canines thrive on. The Hermetia illucens larvae is then gently air dried to preserve all of these important nutrients and then ground alongside some tasty vegetables to produce a protein rich flour which creates the Yora dry kibble food.
This recipe is 100% natural, high quality, and uses a single source of animal protein (from the grubs!) which makes it hypoallergenic and great for dogs with allergies, a sensitive stomach or skin conditions. If your dog has an allergy to common proteins, vets tend to recommend insect protein instead, so this food might be a fantastic addition to their diet!
Free from any nasty or artificial ingredients, no by-products and much less processed than other foods. You won’t find any meat meal here either, just 100% natural ingredients which promote gut health, joint care, and fresh flavours from the little grubs and UK grown vegetables, including potatoes, oats, beetroot and botanicals. The chosen superfoods don’t require as much energy or water to grow in comparison to others. Parsley aids with digestion, kidney health and is a natural anti-inflammatory. The oats are even grown right next door to Yora’s factory in the UK, this is certainly the lowest CO2 dog food you will find!
Presented in their new 100% recyclable packaging, this food is truly better for the environment, better for farm animals, and great for dogs. Yora works closely with several qualified nutritional consultants, an in house nutritionist and are within the PFMA like all other dog foods, so you can be confident their Insect Protein Food is 100% complete, healthy and balanced.
